Alaskan Native's Hair Secret
PTP Naturals’ development of our PTP.Hair line of products begins with the powerful effect Chaga has had on Native Alaskan and other Arctic-based tribes' hair growth and biology. The natives of Alaska have the lowest rates of androgenic alopecia on Earth.
Only 1 in 500 of their men experience hair loss. The same holds true of many far northern tribes that share similar cultural and lifestyles, such as the First Nation Canadians, Siberians, and Mongolians. All are famous for their beautiful, thick, and healthy hair. Could it be just genetics, or something more? All these tribes also share the legend of Chaga and use it to make hair soap to clean their hair and scalp.

THE PROCESS
Proprietary Extraction Process
Here at PTP Naturals, we utilize the time-honored and proven native tribal extraction techniques that have been passed down since ancestral times, and built upon these techniques using modern science to complement and enhance the extraction process.
The result is our own proprietary extraction process that is able to extract, concentrate, and maximize the yield, efficacy, and potency of our Polar Chaga’s volatile botanical compounds.
After 3 years of research, we perfected the process for extracting the Chaga Triterpenoid Complex (CTC), a blend of 7 compounds that includes the star ingredient only found in Chaga – Inotodiol. We also developed the Chaga Enhanced Spectrum Blend (ESB), which is a concentrated version of the complete set of naturally occurring bioactive compounds as found in their original ratios as occurs naturally in the wild.
How does hair grow?
The Anagen phase can last up to six years, followed by shorter phases of growth, slowing, and resting. Each complete cycle takes approximately 3 months, so a minimum 3-month treatment is vital for rejuvenating all hair follicles.
